Echoes from a Lost Paradise was composed in 2020 in response to a quotation by Cecil Collins, visionary artist & writer, who says at the end of the BBC film about his work, Fools & Angels:
"We are, each one of us, haunted by the memory of a lost paradise".
The work is for flute and piano trio. There are two parts: a peaceful Lento followed by a dance-like Piu vivo.
