The Seasons, composed in 2018 is for flute, string trio (violin, viola & 'cello) and piano. The five sections depict, in miniature, the changing seasons from Winter, bleakly minimal, Spring (with a hint of Sumer is acumen in), Summer - lazy and florid, Autumn - colder and with a dying mood and finally Winter again to round the piece off.
