"The Triumph of Job"
Oratorio.
Setting of selected text from the Revised English Version of the Holy Bible with addition anthem and hymn words by the composer.
God allows the Devil to test Job's good nature through many hardships. Job never surrenders his hope or abandons his faith. He solders on with dignity and in the end God bestows upon him many blessings.
This work is particularly well suited to Lent. But could be performed at other times.
