Stephen Daltry was composer, lyricist and co-writer of this stage musical about a fleapit cinema in 1946, the tale of a starstruck usherette. Co-written by Lesley Albiston it enjoyed a successful premiere at the King's Head Islington in 1990, ran at the Salisbury Arts Centre, 1996, in a production by Salisbury Dramatic Association, and on the London fringe, at the Hen & Chickens, Islington. A revised version was workshopped at the Royal Academy of Music and also showcased at the Bridewell Theatre in 2004.
