Excerpt from soundtrack I made for Rachel Pimm solo show at Whitechapel Gallery January 8-April 19 2020.
These field recordings were made in February 2019 in the Afar Triangle region of Ethiopia, using contact and hydroponic mics.
The individual recordings were duplicated several times over, multitracked, and offset in layers. The installation is 4 channel.
