Work for SATB choir and percussion ensemble. Composed in memory of composer/percussionist Gregory Andrew Paroulek (1989-2009; University of Delaware composition major). Words are by Joseph and Anne Paroulek, Greg's parents. Musical motives composed by Greg are incorporated in to the fabric of 'My Son'. Premiere performance presented by the University of Delaware Chorale (Dr. Paul Head, director) and the University of Delaware Percussion Ensemble (Prof. Harvey Price, director), on Monday 8th November, 2011, in Loudis Hall. Premiere performance conducted by Dr. Paul Head.
