British composer living in Kent. Peter studied music with John Railton at Highbury House Hitchin, Bernard Stevens at the Royal College of Music London, and Peter Dickinson & Edward Gregson at Goldsmiths' College London. Previous performances of his works have been given by the BBC Singers - to critical acclaim, The Orlando Consort, The Goldberg Ensemble, The Endymion Ensemble and also broadcast on BBC 's Hear and Now.

In the early 2000s Peter took the radical decision to put his status as an ’emerging composer’ on hold because he realised his style was already undergoing a fundamental change. He needed space to find a way to re-embrace styles, idioms and gestures from past traditions. Despite the obvious risks to his career the result for Peter was life-changing, giving him a new confidence in his work’s integrity and more license to express freely, unhindered by expectation. Peter is currently writing BlocSwitch, the fourth and final movement of a four-part orchestral work. The other movements are:
