Additional Information

This piece for string quartet, voice and wine glasses was first written for performance by the Montrose Composers' Club and was premiered at Free Range, Canterbury in autumn 2018. It was then re-written as part of a collaboration with Sacconi Quartet and performed by them and members of the Montrose Composers' Club as part of the Sacconi Festival 11th May 2019. The text is taken from interviews with women in recovery and talks of the struggle to stay sober.
