Biography
Olivia Sparkhall studied composition at school with Derek Bourgeois and at Durham University with Paul Archbold. Primarily a choral composer, Olivia has also written various pieces for chamber ensemble, both for professional groups and for children. These range from wind quintets and percussion pieces to the multi-violin arrangement, Jingle All The Way.
Olivia is published by Banks Music Publications, Chichester Music Press, Encore Publications and, as both composer and arranger, Multitude of Voyces.
Accolades and commissions:
Dona nobis pacem - short-listed in the Cappella Nova competition in 2018.
Lux Aeterna - commissioned for International Women’s Day services in 2018.
Faith and Hope - commissioned for International Women’s Day services in 2019.
