Since publication, it has been found that repetition of the first nineteen bars of the third movement makes an attractive alternative, affording some leeway for the performer with regard to dynamic, etc.  The second of the Three Welsh Dances for harp was recently adapted for guitar quartet and has been recorded and performed by the Aquarelle Quartet (Aspects, Chandos).
