Paul White was born in England in 1954. He studied music at Cambridge University followed by postgraduate studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and London University Institute of Education. After this he followed a teaching career, working in many different countries. His compositions include more than one hundred pieces of concert standard for piano solo, as well a numerous songs. He has also written a guide to piano technique.
