Alexandra Skevington is an English composer, teacher and musician whose music education focused on performance. Not realising composing could be a career, she left music completely for several years before starting to share her compositions. She has since written in a diverse range of styles and for a variety of instruments and purposes. Her works are influenced by jazz, impressionism and house music, and generally either independently tell a story or were created to support one. She aims to write music that is accessible and enjoyable to listen to and play.
