Biography
After serving in the Royal Marines Band Service (UK Ministry of Defense) for nine years Dr. Webber (born 1949) completed his undergraduate work at the Konservatorium and Musikhochschule, Cologne, Germany, in flute performance and then spent five years engaged in graduate work in the United States, culminating in a Doctor of Musical Arts from the Catholic University of America (music composition). He is also a fellow of Trinity College of Music, London (music theory and composition).
Since then he has composed, conducted, and taught in Britain, Germany, and the U.S. Among his activities he has founded and directed orchestras in Washington, D.C., southern England, and upstate New York. He is published by Arsis Press, Anglo-American Music Publishers and his own Webber Music.
