Igor Marynowski is a contemporary composer specializing in the ethnic music traditions and instrumental music. . With a particular focus on Turkish, Arabic  and Asian  musical heritage, he creates deeply evocative works that integrate authentic instruments and modal structures from these rich traditions into contemporary compositions. Born in 1984, Igor Marynowski was immersed from an early age in the sounds of Turkish folk music and Arabic maqam traditions. This early exposure—through family and  radio musicians cultural surroundings—ignited a passion for the emotional expressiveness of makam/muqam systems, complex rhythmic cycles and the soulful timbres of traditional instruments.
