Sir Adrian Welles Beecham, 3rd Bt. was born on 3 September 1904. He was the son of Sir Thomas Beecham, 2nd Bt. and Utica Welles. He married Barbara Joyce Cairn, daughter of Edward Cairn and Emma Manasseh, on 9 February 1939. He died in 1982.

He graduated from Durham University in 1926 with a Bachelor of Music. He was a composer of songs and choral works. He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Beecham, of Ewanville, Huyston, Lancaster
